SERVICE TERMS

Terms & disclaimer

Draft for pre-launch review. These terms must be reviewed against J&J's final legal/compliance guidance before public launch.

1. Nature of the service

J&J Verified Data provides informational research based primarily on publicly available sources and other sources that J&J is authorized to use. Reports distinguish supported findings from unresolved, conflicting, stale, or unavailable information where practicable.

2. No guarantee of completeness

Public records and third-party sources may be incomplete, delayed, inaccurate, unavailable, or internally inconsistent. A report describes the evidence available at the time of research and does not guarantee that every material fact has been discovered.

3. Not professional advice

Reports are informational only and are not legal, financial, tax, investment, appraisal, title, accounting, or other professional advice. Customers remain responsible for decisions made using the report and for obtaining appropriate professional review when needed.

4. Prohibited eligibility use

The service is not offered for determining a person's eligibility for employment, housing, credit, insurance, or other purposes governed by the Fair Credit Reporting Act or similar consumer-reporting laws.

5. Scope

A purchased report covers the business and research scope accepted by J&J. Requests that are ambiguous, outside the service boundary, legally restricted, or not reasonably researchable from authorized sources may require clarification, modification, or cancellation.

6. Sources and changing information

Source conditions change. A report is current only to the dates and sources identified within it. Later events may supersede earlier findings.

7. Corrections

J&J may correct a report when reliable evidence shows that a material statement was inaccurate or has materially changed. A correction does not imply that information unavailable at the original research time should have been known.
